Dannel Malloy

Dannel Patrick Dan Malloy is an American politician who is the 88th and current Governor of Connecticut. A member of the Democratic Party, Malloy has served as Governor since 2011. He is currently the chair of the Democratic Governors Association.

Dannel Patrick Malloy was born and raised in Stamford, Connecticut, the seventh of seven sons and youngest of the eight children of Agnes Veronica , a nurse, and William Francis Malloy. He is of Irish descent and was raised in the Catholic faith.
